Hamas, Not Israel, to Blame for Palestinian Death Count

Quotes from the Hamas leadership

If you only consume mainstream media, two things seem clear regarding the plight of the Palestinians: Palestinians are unjustly oppressed by Israel, and Israel murders peaceful Palestinians without cause.  Unfortunately, both assertions are woefully inaccurate.

Recently, the media’s focus has been on the “Great March of Return” demonstrations and the Palestinian casualty count due to “Israel’s aggression”.

The “Great March of Return” demonstrations are really protesting the 70th anniversary of Israel’s declaration of independence on May 14, 1948, or more specifically,  commemorating Nakba Day (Day of Catastrophe) May 15, 1948, concerning the displacement of Palestinians from their homeland.  The demonstrations are also supposedly tied to the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem.

As a perfect example of the skewed coverage, just look at this coverage from CNN:

Despite the truth being told in the following clip by Almog Elijis, the spokesperson and Consul for Media Affairs at the Consulate General of Israel in New York, please pay attention to how the CBS anchors try to tilt the narrative toward the desperate plight of the Palestinians.

Why is the mainstream media so intransigent in their support for Palestinian violence and their hatred for Israel?

When it comes to what’s happening in Gaza today, what’s the real story?  Are the Palestinians simply protesting out of desperation or is there more to the story, as Almog Elijis said in the CBS interview?

Maybe we should consult with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) who are accused of killing innocent, peaceful Palestinian protestors, and allow them to defend their actions.

Or, maybe we should simply consult with Hamas, the terrorist organization responsible for the “Great March of Return” protests. They are very clear. It is not a peaceful protest. It’s celebrated as armed resistance.

And, they are proud to claim the majority of the victims as Hamas operatives rather than innocent Palestinians.

Thankfully, Israel has an ally in both President Trump and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.

Despite the truth of Israel’s willingness to live at peace with their Palestinian neighbors, Israel remains the sole target for Hamas and the mainstream media as they continue to push their false narrative.

If the media wants to fully address the plight of Gaza Strip Palestinians, where is the outcry against Egypt’s role in their oppression?  Gaza has a southern border that’s blocked by Egypt.  Why isn’t that included in the mainstream media’s narrative?

If Israel is going to continually be singled-out, we must demand wall-to-wall coverage regarding the rest of the Arab world’s oppression of the Palestinians, such as the destruction of Yarmouk, Syria by Syria.

In related news, Press TV reported that Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yidirum said, “Islamic countries should without fail review their relations with Israel… The Islamic world should move as one, with one voice, against this massacre.”  His comments were supported by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who later stated, “What Israel has done is genocide… I condemn this humanitarian drama, the genocide, from whichever side it comes, Israel or America… We will continue to stand with Palestinian people with determination.”

It’s comments like those from Turkey’s leadership that caused Congress to include a provision in the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act to block U.S. arms sales to Turkey.  Turkey’s response?  According to Reuters,  Turkish  Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, “If the United States imposes sanctions on us or takes such a step, Turkey will absolutely retaliate.”  Great NATO ally…

When it comes to the media’s constant one-sided reporting regarding what is really Palestinian aggression, it all comes down to this: If you tell a lie often enough, someone is bound to believe it…

As long as the mainstream media continues to give cover for Hamas and the Palestinians’ aggression, I will continue to write articles exposing them.  The truth needs to be told if we are ever going to find a solution to the problem!

  1. The media does not tell the truth about what is going on in our Government, why should we expect them to tell the truth about our allies??? The “world” is against anything honoring God or His people. Things are lining up just as it is written in the Bible. We should not be surprised or by these events.

  2. Hamas, and the entire narrative about “Palestine” has been propped up by the media since the Jimmy Carter days. They have relied on the media to push a pro palestinian message for funding which mostly went to bank accounts for Arafat, and the rest of the leadership of all the groups in the area, and precious little has been for any of the so-called Palestinian residents, refugees or whatever fanciful name these people have. Israel has always been trying to negotiate peace in the region, but you have to have to to tango. The only seeming resolution is to negotiate after the last missile is fired on Israel and then, maybe the “Palestinians” will come to the table and talk about working something out, but I doubt that will even happen.
Israel and the United States will probably have to battle it out with Iran in order to get it there, and that is still a political nightmare. In order to get peace, you have to want peace, and I think that is far from the minds of those attacking Israel.
