Is it really willful ignorance or premeditated deception?
According to CBS News, US Attorney General Loretta Lynch held a press briefing, indicating their investigation is ongoing and that the Orlando shooter’s motive has yet to be established.
According to her own statement to Chuck Todd on Meet the Press Sunday, 06/19/2016, the FBI was scheduled to release a “partial transcript of the killer’s calls with law enforcement” the following day. She admitted the release would be edited to refrain from promoting the shooter’s allegiance to terrorist groups.
Below, is the original transcript, as released by the FBI, according to PJ Media.
Orlando Police Dispatcher (OD)
OD: Emergency 911, this is being recorded.
OM: In the name of God the Merciful, the beneficial [in Arabic]
OM: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God [in Arabic]. I let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.
OD: What’s your name?
OM: My name is I pledge allegiance to [omitted].
OD: OK, What’s your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to [omitted] may God protect him [in Arabic], on behalf of [omitted].
As side note, I agree wholeheartedly with PJ Media in that changing the Arabic “Allah” to God is no small thing.
More to the point, however, is what was revealed after the Justice Department and FBI released the unredacted transcript. The corrected portions are below (highlights mine), but you can view the entire transcript here.
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Islamic State.
OM: I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may God protect him [Arabic], on behalf of the Islamic State.
Why can’t we simply take these demonic lunatics at their word and start our investigations from there?
Why can’t our leaders and protectors be honest with us and themselves in order to address the core problem?
The shooter’s motive is obvious. The motive of our leaders’ obfuscation is not…
Just like the cover-up following Benghazi, our current administration is simply unwilling to admit Islam has anything to do with these tragedies.
Their actions are willful and premeditated. They may hide their intent behind lofty rhetoric, stating that calling the enemy by its name will make no difference, but we cannot properly fight an enemy unless we properly identify the enemy.
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” — Sun Tzu, The Art of War
We need to pray for our current and future leaders… May God give our voters wisdom!
